I got involved with the Green Party in 2016. This was the year that the UK voted for Brexit, the US voted for Trump, and my second daughter was born. Local politics seemed like an opportunity for doing something positive when so much else seemed to be going the wrong way. Outside of politics I’m the owner of a successful solar energy company working in Africa and also a hospitality business welcoming visitors to the beautiful Waveney Valley.
